Over the years, I have had some amazing experience travelling and staying at people's homes (not exclusively through couchsurfing). I am a complete advocate of the idea behind couch surfing. Keep the ball rolling and pass on the kindness and hospitality you have received on the road. I will hopefully have a stable home again, so that I can offer a couch to fellow travellers too. However, at the moment I am still semi-nomadic and looking for accommodation rather than offering it.
