Merhaba! I'm Yiğit (the g is silent, goes like yee-it).

If you are a like-minded person or can agree to disagree when you disagree, than that's already good enough! If I have something to learn from you, that's even better. Living alone in Düsseldorf for now and looking forward to meeting travellers from all over the world :) I'm a geeky person rather than a geek, I like using sci-fi pop culture elements when I'm socialising. Not sure if this saves me from the label though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I used CS for the first time, I was an exchange student in Finland. I hosted awesome people and got hosted by other awesome people and then I thought to myself, "Wow, now I really have become a World Citizen (even with no passport issued with this title, unfortunately)".

But little did I know about the pandemic of the century was about to strike and I would not be able to travel for years to come... And now having moved from Turkey to Germany, the pandemic is calmer and I'm in the heart of Europe. So, I want to travel more and help other people do the same!
