Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm all about making new contacts abroad and maybe, if we share the same interests, working on something together and helping each other out!

Unlike the classic hotel holiday traveling, I'd love to get the chance to meat real locals, see what people you're hanging out with, what you do for fun and what you and your friends laugh about, where and how you live and what's your passion.
Hopefully I can learn a lot, make new friends and also show you something you didn't know before.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ugh so hard to say, could write an essay about that!
In music, though I prefer songs with muffled/ambient/under-watery sounds, minor scales, focus on percussive/rhythmic grooves and whitty/relatable lyrics, genre-wise it is quite broad-spread. From Canadian/American rappers like Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar to British artists like Giggs, Jamie XX and King Krule, from house tunes by Denis Sulta or Cristoph to techno bangers by the likes of Ben Klock and Victor Ruiz, everything has a place in one of my playlists.
Some of my favourite songs are Bas - Night Job, Rihanna - Work and Denis Sulta - Our World.

Films I really like are The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Prisoners.

As for books, I truly love J.K. Rowling! Not only do I still admire her powerful imagination in the Harry Potter-Universe, but also her thorough and atmospheric style in A Casual Vacancy and all of the Cormoran Strike books under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

walking up hills in South London, but turning around only once at the top to see the full view of the city
publishing a song and and getting amazing feedback from people that could relate to the lyrics
putting on a banger in a surprise transition and have the club crowd cheer

I can show you a few things with the guitar, drums or cello, talk about different approaches to music production and video editing, take decent pictures. - And I always love to get a look on the world through your eyes! :)
