Hey there! I’m Hannes 👋

Freshly landed from Germany and ready to explore all the wonders Canada has to offer! I recently swapped German bratwurst for poutine, and I’m on a mission to experience every flavor of this beautiful country – from the bustling streets of Toronto to the quiet trails of the Rockies (and maybe even see a moose along the way).

By day, I’m an IT consultant, so if you need a hand with your tech woes or want to chat about the latest gadgets, I’m your person. When I’m not tinkering with tech, I’m all about good food, cold beer, and hitting the trails for some hiking. I have a pretty serious love for nature – although, as a German, I might ask where the nearest recycling bin is while out in the wild.

I’m here to meet new people, share stories, and maybe throw in a few German stereotypes for laughs. Yes, I’m usually on time. Yes, I do have an appreciation for efficiency, and yes, I might have strong opinions about beer.
