About Me

Hi, I'm David Matías, I was born in the city of Oaxaca in Mexico. Then I moved to Mexico City. I am currently finishing my degree in Economics and I am doing an academic exchange at the University of Aarhus Denmark.
As for my personality, I consider myself a charismatic and enthusiastic young man who likes to explore and learn new things. I consider myself a good cooker. Of course I love the party, but my personality goes beyond that, I consider myself very sociable and I like to help people in need a lot. In Mexico City I am a founding partner of a non-governmental organization that aims to help people in a state of economic vulnerability.
I love the economy because it is a tool that helps you to understand the world in a different way, from the perspective of market formation to the determination of prices. My interests are the capital market, public finances and investment policies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because I believe it is a platform that helps you not only to travel but also to know the culture of a country living with local people. I would also like to show the Mexican culture when I return to Mexico.
