Hello beautiful people :))

I'm a 27 years old human being from small country located in the heart of Europe - Slovakia.

When I was 18 my mum told me: “you finally reached the age to travel on your own, so go and see the world" ..

- Indeed I went! 🌏

Actually not just this smiling memory, but the sudden loss of my mom, who raised me alone, woke a huge drive and rage, not only in seeing the world, but trully and fully living.

To overcome my grief, I first decided to take a pilgimage 260km through south Portugal, where I realized, that not giving up on life but actually seeking the most life can offer, living the best and happiest life I can, will be the biggest gratitude for my mum, who gave me this life.

In simple words, instead of running from life I decided to run towards. And so far it works just perfect!

On this journey, in just few years I already outlived all I could possibly dream of as a little boy born at the end of a century in a small town of even a smaller country.

And so now, my life and it’s stories are the biggest wealth I own.

Meeting people, of different backgrounds shaped my journey and brought so many new perspectives. Now I’d also love to be this seed for someone.

That’s why I will always prefer CS over a hostel. To meet, connect and inspire each other :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because how else could I make friends, while being hosted in a kindergarden in Taiwan, staying with nudists in Madrid, staying in villa with private chef in Dubai, singing Karaoke in Tokyo, watching skyline of Manhattan on the rooftop in Brooklyn.. and many many more casual or extraordinary stories that could only happen through this genuine connections.

And because I believe there are still many friendships to be build and stories that need to happen (:

And because the person offering own home, to share with a stranger, must be among the nicest people in the world and we need to share a hug at least haha.

Plus I can’t wait to settle down in some cool place and start hosting myself 💛

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided not to give up on life in hard times, turning around the worst years of my life into the best ones.

Since walking 260km through south of Portugal, there have been many amazing things thst happend along my way, but the most precious ones are for sure from central Asia.

I lived and trained Kung Fu among budhist monks in Sri Lanka, walked up to hights of 5 thousands in the Himalayas (once from Nepal once in India) became a yoga teacher in Rishikesh, volunteered in a bakery in 4000m, drove for a week through highest motorable roads of the world in Ladakh, India. Lived in a community in east Nepal learning about ayurveda and meditation.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don’t really trust myself to teach you anything apart from a headstand on paddleboard :D

but I can share a lot of my stories, funny ones from living among teenage monks in Sri Lanka, or being bitten by a monkey in Cambodia, interesting outlooks from student times in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, a looot about Norway my second home where I keep coming back every summer for past 4 years, growing up in Eastern Europe, finding seasonal jobs or volunteerings.

My very personal life story full of ups and down, with the most possitive attitude and the brightest days yet to come :))
