My name is Anna but everyone calls me Anya. I'm 21, I study musicology at the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory and teach piano at a musical school. I'm a pianist, also I play ukulele a bit and used to play violin.
I was travelling a lot with my parents when I was a child, and now I try not to give up on this hobby. Also I've spent a lot of time in England while studying English at international schools so now I have plenty of friends from all over the world and I love it! I'd like it very much to have some more:)

First of all, I've been living my whole life in Saint-Petersburg. I know almost everything about Russian culture and quite a lot about Russian art and history (especially about this city). I live in the very city centre and I'm always happy to give you a place to stay, show you around, help you out if you don't know Russian (it may be a problem sometimes) or just meet you and become a pleasant acquaintance and practise my English with you:)
Also I'd love to get a new experience of meeting local people while travelling myself, I think it gives one a different kind of understanding other countries' culture.

Musica, film e libri

I love all kinds of music. A classical one is my favourite, but I enjoy modern music of any kind as well. I'm not that into movies, yet I'm always up to going to the cinema with my friends. I'm a huge fan of Russian classical literature, but if you have anything different to show me, I'll be very glad to try it too!

I would love to share my experience in studying classical music and English (especially for IELTS and CAE exams) and I'd be thrilled to talk to anyone about other languages and cultures, maybe practice my English and some bits of Italian
