My name is Angelique and I’m a recent transplant to Oregon originally from Dresden. I moved here to get more serious in the field of Outdoor Education, and have now completed my first two seasons here! I spent my summer in Portland teaching wilderness survival skills to wee little kids, then spent my fall down in Deschutes National Forest teaching ecology at an Outdoor School located very close to the beautiful area of Mt Washington, the PCT, and Three Fingered Jack. I’m currently in between seasons of work and decided to travel around the Asia

I want to preface this part by apologizing for having no references yet. I just joined Couchsurfing last week after it was mentioned to me by the owner of the hostel i stayed at in Dresden. I’ve stayed with one welcoming hosts so far in the past week that I’ve shared great conversations and company with! So I am requesting the bare essentials of sleeping under a roof and access to drinking water. I also want to meet a diverse array of friendly welcoming people, because the rainy coast can get sort of lonely without new friends to show me around!

I'm a huge movie fan, I like world cinema and films that make you think. I tend to like retro films and contemporary Russian, German and Korean cinema best. That said, every now and again I just like to sit back, let my brain sleep and watch some colourful/explosive eye candy on the big screen.
