Hi there! I'm Ronja (24) from Erfurt - Germany. I grew up on a small farm in Bavaria - close to animals and nature! Yes, I truly am a farmgirl! I love being outdoors, which involves sporty things like hiking and jogging or just do a picnic and watch sunset! Simple moments make me happy!
I'm the oldest daughter of three girls at home - I was actually born two minutes before my twin haha - and know how to take responsibility! Also I love to help others which is why I engage myself voluntarily at the German Red Cross.
After graduating from school I spent half a year in Canada and worked / traveled through the country. It's been an amazing experience!!! Back home I moved to Jena and started my studies for physical therapist. After I finished my Bachelor I moved to Erfurt and started my Master studies in Public Health. So far I'm really happy with my choice. Life here is great but still I sometimes miss traveling and I know I'll never be able to stop.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is an adventure... why sit around at home then?
I truly think traveling only has good aspects but one: it's damn expensive! This is why I like the idea of couchsurfing! You connect with new people while having the possibility to share stories and experiences! How can you get in touch with a new place/country better than chatting with locals?!
I'm already looking forward to meet you!:)

Interests

My favourite sport is definitely swimming! I've been practicing in a swimming group for many years now and also trained younger kids. Furthermore I love other sports like inline skating or jogging!
Besides that my social contacts are very important to me. I enjoy to spend time with my family and -of course- my friends! We often hang out, go shopping, watch movies or play games together and I love those girls nights!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I can teach some first aid skills to everyone who's interested. I did some courses for being a lifeguard because I think it's important to know how to help people in danger!

Nice conversations and if appreciated I can cook some german food ( I have to admit I´m probably not the most talented cook though :D ) talk about my culture or teach you some vocabulary :)
