Hey y’all! I’m Pietra, a very enthusiastic brazilian girl with a very big smile, passion for exploring the world, learning new skills and immersing myself in different cultures and environments, specially the ones that challange me.
I was only 15 when I went to New Zealand for a year and since then I’ve lived in USA, explored around Europe and the Americas, headed to Asia, where I lived in China for a year and half and travelled a lot around south east Asia but because of Covid came to New Zealand where I’ve been since February!
Following what makes my heart happy I’m an international Relations major and I love learning about the world and the beautiful cultures in it, and I can say my biggest dream is to experience them all sharing and learning from everyone that crosses my path. I look forward to meeting you in this journey called life.

I’m pretty eclectic when it comes to all this subjects but as for songs Brazilian music in all its forms speaks to my soul, and I am a strong believer that we express our spirit though music so I love getting recommendations of something meaning to you.
It would be unfair to pick one favorite movie, but I love adventure and nature documentaries.
Have you ever read Mao’s last dancer, I read it twice and I must say after living in China is even more incredible.

I like to think every part of being alive is pretty amazing. Although living in China for a year and a half and getting the opportunity to backpack around south east Asia was in every way a life changing experience that allowed me to meet so many beautiful people, new cultures, but specially to meet myself on the way.

I like to think we are all storytellers and that’s been the best way to learn for ages, so I would love to hear your stories and share mine. I can teach you about Brazil and it’s culture, Brazilian food and of course dancing, I love yoga so we can definitely do that together. I would love to learn anything about your country and your journey and experience the world through your perspective.

I can share some great stories, cook some Yummy vegan food, teach you about my culture, or some language like Portuguese and English or even have you shake your hips with some Brazilian dancing, we can do some yoga together but as life is about balance I will also share a drink with you.
