Overview
About Me
Hello there 🌎🌍🌏 My name is Laerke and I’m 24years old from Copenhagen, Denmark. I’m coming to Edinburgh as an exchange student for the autumn semester 2023. I’ve been traveling/living outside of Denmark for over three years before starting studying biology on The University of Copenhagen. I love traveling and meeting new people with interesting cultures and a different view on life - that’s why I found the concept with Couchsurfing great.
I did try Couchsurfing a few times in Australia with my friend from Belgium and we had some great experiences with it and that’s why I’m gonna try once again when moving to another country☀️☀️☀️
I’m really open-minded to try new things. I love to have fun and for fun can be anything ranging from: drinking beer, play boardgames (love boardgames!!!), diving, hiking, eating, everything with water and so on. I will will treat your home like my own so feel free to contact me about anything. I’ll hope to meet you soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why not? Its a perfect opportunity to get a more local experience and build new acquaintances, who might have a different way of living their lives than what I’m used to. You can learn so much more about people, history, cultures and yourself as well, when you get to stay in a more private and local atmosphere.
Interests
Outdoor activities, knitting, crocheting, swimming, biology
