My identity is like a Jenga tower, each piece a belief I hold about myself or the world. In my early 20s, kinda by accident, I pulled a block out and the whole tower collapsed. I’ve been rebuilding it ever since.

I am a chronic thinker (my mum would say “overthinker”). I also have an MA in Creative Writing and this year, 2025, am completing a Grad Dip in TESOL and Applied Linguistics, so if you like words, we will definitely get along :)

My favourite people are those who are curious, and who don’t have much time for small talk.

First... why I’m NOT on Couchsurfing: I’m not using this as the traveler’s tinder, if I wanted that I would just use tinder :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing...
Initially I used couchsurfing as a surfer, I love getting to know people, and there’s nothing quite like getting to know a local in the place you’re staying.

Now I want to give back through hosting. I know what it’s like on the other side; traveling on your own, arriving in unfamiliar places, meeting new people, trying to stick to a budget. I get it. I want to help :) it would be nice if you could personalize your message. I, like many other hosts, want to get to know people, so please don’t treat this is an Airbnb/hotel.

One of my biggest pet peeves are people who are consistently on their phones when we're together, so you can rest assured that I will give you my undivided attention in conversation because my favourite thing is a deep conversation. I love sharing stories and learning about people -- what they like/dislike, believe/reject, hopes/regrets etc -- whether it's in the early hours of the morning, or late into the night. Even better if it's accompanied by a coffee or meal.
