Just a Bulgarian girl with an admiration for traveling, deep conversations, our universe, nature, and the truly important things in life. Neverending desire to expand my knowledge in every aspect. A sports and adventure addict, mountaineer, and long distance cyclist. Photography, music (violin, guitar, piano), hiking, Model UN. Solo traveling across the globe ♡ Mountains and trekking are my favorite.

Hopes? That people realize how absurd our societal structure is and will eliminate biases and stereotypes which only inhibit our ability to live happily in peace.

Dreams? To backpack the world and to be surrounded by genuine human connection. To become a mountain guide.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been sending letters and postcards across the globe for more than 10 years. Being exposed to an abundance of cultures from a young age sparked my love for traveling and genuine human connection. I hope to continue meeting people around the world and experiencing what our world has to offer. My priority in life is to be surrounded by genuine human connection, regardless of where I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently completed an internship at the United Nations in NYC.

I moved to the Netherlands for university without ever having been to the Netherlands, and lived with 19 other people from all around the globe my first two years of university.

Completed a 7-day water fast (no food for 7 days, just water).

Mountaineering is my passion.

I worked as a security guard for the Chicago Cubs (famous US baseball team) in 2019.

I was an exchange student in South Korea and Slovenia.

I grew up in the most mountainous region in Bulgaria (looooove mountains!!!) in a city of only ~10,000 residents, and the extremely diverse city of Chicago.

I am a huge language geek (and a nerd in general)- I would love to teach you some of what I know, as well as learn from you!

I am a music lover, so we can create music together and sing-along (even if you have never touched an instrument before, it would be wonderful to teach you!)

I've been told by my friends and family that I am a good cook - I can cook you something plant-based.

We can go trekking/hiking together.

I can teach you some of my yoga flows.

I am a super energetic and happy university student. I loooove deep conversations and adventures; I don't believe it is possible to be bored. I am looking forward to sharing experiences, stories, laughs, adventures, guitar/ukulele jams, and opinions with fellow travelers and hosts. :))) I also cook delicious plant-based meals.
