My name is Maria Alejandra Rico, I am 26 years old and one of my passions is to travel and get to know new people, cultures and different places. I was born in Bogotá, Colombia and I am a Psychologist.

I recently moved to Vancouver with my fiancé. I am studying a Post Degree Diploma in Business Administration and with my fiancé we love to have adventures while traveling around the world. I have travel to Europe, South America, United States and Central America, one of my goals is to keep traveling to other parts of the world so we can build memories as a couple.

I am couchsurfing, because I had discover that the way to actually get to know the place is getting to know people that had been living in the place. It is also a way of meeting and creating new relationships that can become my friends in the future. With my fiancé we believe that sharing cultures is one of the biggest ways for having new learning outcomes, at the end all these experiences are the ones that help us building our personality.

I love classic rock and Colombian music.

I love Disney and all it's movies, this is the kid I have inside. Other type of movies I like is the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Musicals and independent movies.

My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice of Jane Austen. I also had read Harry Potter saga, other books of Jane Austen, Freud.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

On 2011 I travel to United States in a Work and Travel program, I worked in Cedar Point. There I met a lot of people from different parts of the world. I also worked with a fundraiser company, supporting people with different psychotic disorders, in that experience I learn to listen and understand more the human being and the different support strategies.

Finally, I had always challenge myself in different sports, where I had understand that theres no limitation to achieve goals and dreams.
