About Me
Hi, we’re Damia and Sean and we’re currently on a sabbatical around the world, this is a long-life dream come true. We left everything behind in Chicago, including our jobs, and went on this crazy journey to see the world before we have kids. We’re so lucky to be part of the Couchsurfing community because we’re able to see life and the culture through the locals!
As a couple, we’re pretty calm and low-key. We enjoy cooking at home, having good conversations and being present without needing much. We’re looking forward to meeting people and understand their corner of the world a little better, and we’d love to contribute in any small way we can; whether that’s doing the dishes, sharing a meal, or just respecting the space you share with us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We’re traveling to see the world, but more importantly, to connect with it. Couchsurfing gives us the chance to meet people, learn from local life, and experience places in a more meaningful way than just passing through. We believe these small, real moments with others are what make travel unforgettable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A calm presence, homemade meals, help around the house, and lots of gratitude. We’re not high-maintenance and we always try to leave a place better than we found it.
