Hello! My name is Kara, I’m a 41yo traveler with an adventurous heart.. currently (as of March 2019) experiencing SE Asia, Indonesia and Samoa until May learning traditional massage for women. If you have a massage table, I can practice on you! My specialty is postpartum and maternal massage. I will be licensed in Hawaii. My somatic bodywork program starts this year and ends in 2020.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be in Los Angeles working
and am house sitting for part of May and June.
I can get an Airbnb but would love to save $ for my move to Kauai.

I will be moving to Kauai in July for a Somatic Bodywork program. I’m looking to stay with locals while my stuff is in storage to check out different areas and decide between living in Kapaa or North Shore.

Massage if you have a massage table, roasted veggies with turmeric and lemon garlic dressing, weeding, garden assistance. I am an independent guest (esp in LA) who is happy to share stories and be social, or do my own thing and help out with household cleaning. And a combo of both.
