My birthname is Marie, but I prefer to use Maya, as this name was given to me by dear friends in Nepal and it means 'love' in Nepali :)
I am 24 years old, I finished High School 5 years ago and since then I've been led on an incredible journey through life in our colourful world!
This journey has now brought me to Lebanon where I am amazed and deeply grateful for being welcomed so warm heartedly :) I've somehow felt called to this land for as long as I remember and I am deeply grateful (and quite a bit overwhelmed as well) to finally be here! It feels so alive, so dense, so diverse and I feel deeply inspired to let go, trust and let my path lead me into it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in the process of learning to let go, trust and let my path lead me where ever I am meant to go - and I have a strong feeling that couchsurfing will be an important and helpful part of this process :)

Interests

For me the most enriching aspect of travelling is to meet people, to explore different cultures and ways of living and to share different experiences of and views on life.
Although I also really enjoy peaceful and quiet experineces in nature :)
