Hi!!!! My name is Begüm and I’m currently living in the Netherlands as an exchange student. I am from Turkey, Istanbul but my family is originally from Bulgaria, so it is not surprising that I don’t resemble Turkish people a lot. I am an undergraduate student in Boğaziçi University which is the best university in Turkey and I study philosophy. I also take courses from psychology department so that I will be able to apply master programs that integrate both disciplines. I spend most of the time reading books on philosophy of the self and psychoanalysis (I am not a fan of Freud thou :)) I also learn spanish and I loooove their culture, food and sense of humor. Also, I attend social responsibility projects in my university and study with disadvantageous children who cannot get any education. Now, I live in the Netherlands for 2 months and I’ll be here for 4 months as well, so I am trying to have fun as much as I can🌞
