Hi new friends! I'm an Ecology graduate and musician / music enthusiast travelling round Europe for the summer. Sounds cliche but I'm very interested in meeting cool new friends and having adventures, and trying and learning new things. New to CS so haven't hosted yet, but very much into building community through travel so my place will also be open once I have one!

I am open to all kinds of hosting styles, but if you want to adventure in your own city with me I'm keen for that! Particularly keen on getting to know the arts and music scenes in new cities and how sociable it is (currently musing on switching to the arts for work...). Also keen to explore the queer scene, activist scene, nightlife in general, your favourite things to do, the community vibes, how friendly it is, and ofc all the secret stuff tourists don't get to know :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm keen on making connections with people and communities while I travel. I'm considering moving somewhere new after summer and some of the places I'm travelling I'm kind of checking out the vibes. I mostly want to make new friends who can come visit me too in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play guitar, drums, ukulele and sing, and produce music. I would be happy to share what I know and/or have a jam for sure. I also have experience organising activism, and in ecological fieldwork (terrestrial and marine), and science communication (writing, podcasting) - if any of that interests you we can definitely chat about it :)

I am competent in Spanish, though unofficially (I taught myself) so can help you with Spanish as long as you're not fluent because then hopefully you can help me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm vegan and a reasonable cook, so have some fun wholesome recipes to share. I like to think I'm a fun and reliable friend so I could offer you that :)

Also have lots of fun facts about the living world (biology stuff) and stories from travels! Wherever I end up living after summer you'll also be welcome.
