I'm Nucha from the Netherlands but currently skipping the winter by staying in the most beautiful city of Egypt: "Aswan" (I can assure you that the view and the weather are way better here than in the Netherlands ;).

I stay about 15 min from the trainstation (by car) with my husband Hedra, he is also on couchsurfing so you can check his account aswell :).

I'm not really into sightseeing here anymore but enjoying the local life. Still love swimming in the nile, nature, beautiful views, local food and drinks though.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It is easy to go to a travel agency (or Google) and ask for the touristic, highlighted places of a country or city to see. But to really see a country, culture or know about the people and his history I'd like to meet locals.
Locals know thé spots and places to see and that doesn't always have to be the list on lonely planet, or at any onther top 5! So don't look up weird if I arrive to your place with no idea about anything around 😅, sounds maybe stupid but I like to call it open minded (or empty minded 🤷‍♀️).

As for hosting in Aswan: I'd love to help you get around and tell you where to do what and how.
I'd love to join for a swim, cooking or going out for a nice meal/drinks :)!

Travelling is already expensive enough. After a year of travelling and being hosted at amazing places, peoples and families I finally have a place to host now with my husband and do something back for the couchsurf community. So sharing is caring, you're super welcome here!
