Hello, my name is Scarlat Guimaraes, I am 26 years old, I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Nowdays I'm living in Amstelveen, Holland, I'm doing a interchange that I live with a dutch family, learn about the culture and take care their kids (Au Pair). I already lived in the US for a year in 2019. During my time living in the US, I came to visit Paris and stayed in Couchsurfing, my experience was great.

What I love most in this life and traveling, I love visit new places and meet new people. I believe that the world is incredible for diversity and have the opportunity to know a little more of the people who live in it and amazing. I also love nature, camping, cycling, hiking, going to the beach, piquiniques, etc. I've camped many times, including wild camping.

My favorite band is called "Legiao Urbana" and a Brazilian band from 1982, my favorite music and "Vampire Theater" and "Tiempo Perdido". I also love rock and bands like red hot chili peppers, Queens and beatles.

My favorite movies are Gone With the Wind (1939), Fight Club (1999) and Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961). But I also like current superhero movies like Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Wonder Woman. Horror movies I like a lot too.

My favorite books are Diary of Anne Frank, Angels and Demons and the Chronicles of Narnia. I like many others but I can not remember the names now

To move alone to a Country that did not speak the language, perhaps the most courageous. But perhaps the most incredible thing is to have done volunteer work with special and needy children and learn from them to see things from another perspective.
