Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never understood couch surfing until my last visit to Singapore. I came alone and ppl start to message me in cs offering to host me. I feel really grateful for that. I managed to go with some of the friends from cs and it went well. Now I understand the feeling of traveling with locals. So hopefully I can be a good host too when u come to Surabaya or Indonesia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with a giant manta at manta bay, Gili. So it is a tourist destination where they took u to the bay where there's manta fish. I happen to see a big one. So I swam following the big fish. After some time I realized that I already swam far away from the crowd. The waves suddenly scare me. Also, the imagination what if the manta can sting me with its ray? So with all my strength, I swam back to the crowd. I tried to search for my boat. Exhausted I holding on to a boat. Then I looked down, there he was, the big manta. He swims gorgeously below me. I was so stunned and also happy. I felt like the manta wants to make friends with me. Then suddenly there's a lot of bubbles came from the divers. Then the manta swam away. No video or photo was taken. But the feeling and memories last.
