Overview
About Me
I am Giovanni, 28, and Thaine is 27.
We are a young Brazilian couple living in south Italy. We are both freelance journalists spending some time abroad and willing to learn with the people we bump into along our travels.
We love to travel, cook, photograph and have meaningfull conversations :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First, we believe that knowing local people is the best way to learn about a place. Secondly, couchsurfing is a good way of making this year financially possible for us. While we have some money saved, Europe is not exactly cheap for southamericans hahah.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We left Brazil to travel for one year (or more, please!), leaving friends, steady job and family to make this dream alive! I know it sounds cliché and looks dreamy, but this is not easy at all :)
___
In 2016 I was on vacation in Cuba and Fidel Castro died! I am a journalist and ended up working the whole trip haha. When I returned to Brazil, the newspaper I used to work at published my photo essay about these griefing days.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach some Brazilian dishes, share our music references (Brazil has a bunch!) and offer a new profile picture for your social media haha
We are eager to learn about your country/region/city history, politics and suchs while we share a good meal or glass of wine :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Our stories and yours. Dinners, bottles of wine, beers, photographs, citywalks, parties, cafes... we're here to hear and learn!
