Hi, I'm Márton, an 18-years-old high school student from Hungary. I will graduate next year, so I want to enjoy my last summer before my final exams. I'm an open minded individual, so you can talk with me about basically anything, but my main interests are languages, climate change, and politics. I have been awarded a DiscoverEU Interrail Pass this year, and I want to make the most out of it!

I will do an Interrail trip at the end of August 2019 between Paris and Oslo. As I will be spending only a few nights in each city, I figured that it would be best to stay with locals, so that I can truly immerse myself in the everyday life of the city.

My favourite band is Twenty One Pilots, but I'm open to basically any genre of music, I don't have a preference. Even though I'm a fan of classical and instrumental music, I can't play any instruments, but I'd love to learn to play on a ukelele - they are so cute! I'm also a big fan of Hungarian contemporary music and bands.
My favourite movie/book genre is drama, but I occasionally watch horror and animated films as well. I prefer series to movies, my favourites are Breaking Bad, Chernobyl and of course SKAM. My favourite books include 1984, Brave New World and Nothing by Janne Teller - I'm always up to discuss their storys and meaning with anyone!

First of all, I'd love to learn about you, and your culture. I'm quite open minded, so I'd be interested in all of the interestin stories you may have about your life.
Moreover, I love cooking, espacially in company - so I could teach you some basics of the Hungarian cuisine, and I'd be more than happy to learn about the culinary aspects of your country.
Apart from culture, one of my main interest are languages and I can offer you a language exchange if you are learning one of the langueges I speak, but I'm also interested in learning basic phrases in your languages. If you'd like to, I can teach you basic Hungarian - which is not really useful outside of Hungary, but it's quite a unique language.
On the musical side, I have no prior knowledge concerning any instruments, but I'd love to learn how to play a ukulele or a guitarre!
