Hi! This is Aslı. I can say I am a very cheerful person. I like to laugh, talk to people and listen to things that they want to say. Seeing the world and meet new people all around the world has been always my dream! I even decided to major in Translating to understand people. This summer I decided to see Europe! Well, actually it was my boyfriend's idea, but let's pretend like it was my idea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because this platform is the most fun and friendly way to find places to stay. When I travel, I am not curious about just sightseeing, I'm also curious about the people! Couchsurfing is the easiest way to meet new people and learn about new cultures abroad.
I have been hosted in America before with an exchange program. I am familiar with being hosted, and taught that why shouldn't I also host? Being surfer and a host are both awesome and I can't wait to experience both!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived by myself in America for almost a year when I was 17. I mean with a host family but hey, I was kind of alone.
I went to Vienna, Austria. And it was all free, cool right?
I played violin for 3 years.
Won an art competition. (In kindergarten but I think I should still get the credit.)
