Hello there..
I am Miriam from the Czech Republic. I would describe myself as a spontaneous person with an open mind and heart for gaining new experience, but also with responsible attitude towards nature and others. Getting to know new places, people and their culture and create a new, unforgettable memories is a huge thing in my life, which brings me joy.

In my free time, I love to grab my backpack, good mood (at least one tuna) and head into the mountains to watch the sunset and stargaze. I generally enjoy outdoor activities and spending time in nature —climbing, cycling, or trying new adventures like paragliding or kayaking. On quieter days, I like to unwind with music and art: playing the piano, learning on Ukulele, working on some crative projects..Or sometimes simply doing nothing at all (just watching the world go by from the window while sipping tea).

I’ve had the chance to join different volunteering projects and spend some time for example in Peru, or Albania. I love meeting people from all kinds of backgrounds, listening to their stories, living the local life in a minimalistic way and then come back home to enjoy a warm shower and the simple things in everyday life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people, learning about their culture, sharing experiences with them, and doing activities together if there’s time and interest.
