I am a South African who has just moved to Lille, France to study a Masters for 2 years from 1st September 2020. Traveling and working around the world just enjoying life and learning new things along the way. I like to make new friends along the way and exchange stories and just generally enjoy each others company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its better to stay with a local and just see parts of the country through their eyes. It a nice way to make friends and learn things that a hotel or planned trip will never show you. I am also easy going and if you prefer more privacy I am happy with that too. As long as we botha are comfortable. I like to hangout and travel together more as I feel its a better way to enjoy the city. So i would definitely be up for a walk or coffee together. It does not have to be major outings

Anything from the radio haha basically whatever is good. I like more chilled music but enjoy some background noise while we talk.
As for movies generally lord of the rings, star wars, harry potter, but also getting into more European shows. I like the storylines and enjoy the good production quality. Books! Hmm not much pf a reader more of a Googler. I am interested in all topics and love a little political debate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the amazon. Most amazing thing and nothing can compare!!! I got the chance to see river dolphins, fish for piranhas and camp under the trees!

Teach, Learn, Share

Basically just conversation and laughs and share travel stories. Just having a friend over for a visit. And I am native English speaker. So if you want to practice. Great. Id like to practice a bit of Hebrew! Willing to learn French too since I will be living in France.
