Hi, my name is Kateřina. Currently I am a student of environmental studies at the Masaryk university in Brno. I love germanic languages and learn german. I'm a tea person, love trains and enjoy walking (in nature or in city). My another hobby is reading. I read usually about history, human rights and sociology. I'm also interested a little in politics and try to be civically active, when possible. I believe, that we are all equal, no metter on place, where we live, colour of our skin, sexual orientation, gender, etc.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I have registrated here, because I want to discover new places, meet new people and listen to their stories, learn about their lives. I believe, that getting to know new people and listen to them can make me and anybody more open-minded, respecting and in general enrich. It's also much better to get to know some foreign city, place thanks to people, who live there and not just as a "usual" tourist. I also like the idea of sharing rooms. Since I live in a student flat and in a walk-through room, I, unfortunately, cannot offer suitable conditions for accommodation. Anyway, when I'm free, I will gladly show you Brno :).

I learn german and I would like to be better in it. I also would like to learn little bit swedish, right now I know only some sentences. One day I really would like to learn to play on a piano, I love the sound of it.

I can teach you, how to play marbles :) (I have been playing them for 8 years). We only have to find some place, where is possible to dig a hole. I can of course share with you my experiences, some pieces of Czech/Czechoslovakian history, the political-social situation in here.
