I am 23 years old, just finished my bachelors degree in German and Spanish. I lived in Cologne, Germany for a year while I was on my Erasmus and also lived in Lisbon. I've been on a few trips around Europe but this is the first time I am travelling for a long time and so far I am loving every minute. I love reading, drinking coffee, eating local (vegetarian) food (I've been a vegetarian since birth), and learning and experiencing new things in general! I'm going to be in Bilbao from the 3rd to the 6th of August and Barcelona from the 7th to the 8th of August so I am looking for someone who could host me in those cities!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to really get to know the places I will visit and that for me means getting to know the people who live there. I think lots of people can travel and visit places without every really _being_ there, and I want to avoid that. Couchsurfing seems like it could be a solution!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite author is Barbara Kingsolver (Poisonwood Bible, the Lacuna), my music tastes vary wildly - I'll listen to almost anything. Some of my favourite films are Little Miss Sunshine, The Square, Birdman, Loving Vincent, Victoria, and a lot more that I can't think of.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I spent two weeks doing a workaway experience in an amazing eco-community in the North of Portugal, helping a family build a house. Being so close to nature and detached from 'normal life' completely changed my way of looking at the world (for the better I think).
