I am a curious person, always keen to take in as much from the world and its opportunities as I can.
Nature is my happy place and my shelter from our modern, sometimes so fast moving and overwhelmimg world. A stroll through the woods, a cold swim in a lake or laying in the grass, watching trees from underneath - it all gives me the chance to breath in deeply and to unlock a clear mind.
I perceive languages to a key to people and their stories, ideas and thoughts which I like so much to hear.
I feel grateful to be a part of the couchsurfing community, which I always perceived as caring, helpful and warm!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because there is no substitute to spending time with locals while traveling.
It´s the best way to get an idea of how it is to see a country with someones elses eyes!

Interests

old and new vinyl records, listening to people when they share their favorite songs, discovering new music, loving old music, playing drama, performing on the street, dancing on the street, dancing in nature, dancing in a club, wandering around in the city during the night, wandering around in the city during the day, sitting in a cafe all by myself enjoying every sip of coffee with all my senses, sitting in a cafe with a good friend and good talks and shared stories and shared emotions, conversations about the weirdness of life, playing the ukulele, playing the piano, drumming on my guitar, making street music, but singing off-key, art, painting, drawing, writing poetry and random stuff, nature!! sunsets, mountains, reaching the summit, the calm of forests, trees!! Laying in the grass underneath a tree and watching how it’s branches separates the sky into peaces, swimming in cold rivers and lakes, the ocean and how it’s waves brake, meditation, books and shared ideas, old bookstores, getting lost, philosophical conversations
In the end just finding ways to embrace this life with every facet!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in a 2 degree cold lake in the winter season
watching the northern lights in a natural spring in Iceland
making music on the streets with a friend for eight hours every day, one week and seeing people smiling because of us
hitch-hiking around in southern France and meeting the best people there
trying to surf
sleeping on the dune and watching the starts all night
Sleeping in the Serengeti Nationalpark in Tanzania
