Hey guys!
I am Riccardo and I love travelling. I never had the opportunity to do a long backpacking travel of few months tho. I am originally from Italy (exactly in between Venice, Austria and Slovenia). I grew up where the Latin, German and Slavic country meet. Therefore I love speaking to people with different backgrounds and experiencing new cultures. I have been living in the beautiful Heidelberg (Germany) for a few years now, but I am definitively moving to experience new countries. I do not know yet where to and when, I am looking forward to what life will bring me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every time I travel I like to meet new people. I like to share my experiences and hear about different stories. So far, I went mainly to hostels. But a friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing and I definitively would like to try this. I was an Airbnb host for one year. I know that it is different because there was money involved, but I remember having great experiences with my guests. Most of the time we ended drinking wine together in the evenings. I am looking forward to experience the other side of the host/guest relationship. I'd love to host guests too, but I am living in a shared apartment with other students and it's really not feasible now. I'll be a host again soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the road trip in Croatia from Rijeka to Dubrovnik.
Every spot on the road is just amazing, you feel like you want to stop for days everywhere. People are so friendly and the food is the best!
