Hello! I’m new to couch surfing, and traveling in general. I have been living in California for the last ten years, and loved a lot about it. Originally from Washington state, I spent the summer and fall traveling around the south west United States, hiking and enjoying the beautiful landscape and culture. I am spending the month of January traveling through Ireland, which has been the top of my dream travel lists since I learned of Ireland’s existence.

For me the motivation to travel around the county is to connect with people I would otherwise never meet. The best way to get to know a place and it’s culture is to get to know the people that make up the community! Couchsurfing seems like such a great way to do that.

I am an avid reader, lately I have been splitting my time reading accounts of labor/leftist organizing and getting sucked into the world of the Queens Thief fantasy novels.

One of my favorite trips so far has been backpacking into the Grand Canyon with my two best friends. I love backpacking and hope to do much more of it in the future (the pacific crest trail is on my bucket list)

I am always trying (and struggling) to learn Spanish. If you would like to practice Spanish with a beginner I’m your gal! I have a degree in visual media design and have some photoshop/illustrator skills that I am more than happy to share. As well as drawing a painting skills if you are so inclined!

I can cook and clean! (I have done both for a living) and I’m happy to dog walk or care for your furry friends! I spent three years as a early childhood educator, and can lead arts and crafts activities for children (or adults!)
