To meet new people in a way that goes further than tourist traps! I want to share and trade ideas and experiences, and love the idea of a global community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to it all, I adore suggestions. Italo disco, techno, punk and hard hitting beats are my favourite night out; but give me some folk, blues, indie for a chill session.

Movies: will watch and enjoy everything, but all time favourites are action - a good soundtrack, impossible feats, good looking people running around: perfection.

Books: Out of all three (music, movies,books) Books are my favourite. I love to read fiction to zone out, non-fiction to zone in and learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked on a boat around the remote north-west of Australia (the Kimberley) - crocs and sharks were an occupational hazard ! They’re just big softies at heart though…

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a degree in Marine Biology so can teach you some cool ocean animal facts!
I’d love to learn a language, as currently I only speak English. I’ve studied French and Italian at school, but not greatly.
