About Me

(She/Her)
I live for the moment. Or at least I try. Sometimes I have to plan 4 months ahead 🤷‍♀️. Mostly my trips are confirmed between 4 days and 4 weeks before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can Google Image the sights and Wikipedia the history, but the best way to experience Romanticism is through a local's couch.

Interests

I'm not a dancer but I've performed for hundreds of people. I can't act but I've been examined in drama and theatre. I have poor stamina but it won't stop me from playing an hour of ball sports. I've learned basic Spanish to get me through Barcelona and Bolivia then clean forgotten it in a year. From abseiling to yoga, chasing impalas to eating freshly caught wild snake, and be it dating a different race or gender. I definitely haven't tried it all, so maybe you have something new for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Romanticism tells us that in order to make the most of our human potential we must have as many different experiences as we can. We must open ourselves to a wide spectrum of emotions; to appreciate different styles of music. One of the best ways to do all that is to break free from our daily routine, leave behind our familiar setting, and go travelling in distant lands, where we can 'experience' the culture, the smells, the tastes and the norms of other people. We hear again and again the romantic myths about 'how a new experience open my eyes and changed my life'.
