About Me
At the moment I’m seeking to travel more often as in the last couple years. I just got a new job that allows me to work from anywhere, as long as I have an internet connection, so I want to use it and see some different countries this year. I’m looking forward to not only visit these countries as a tourist, but to actually stay for a few months, hopefully meeting some great people, learning the language (at least a little bit).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a great experience with Couchsurfing in the UK and the baltics. It seems like a much quicker introduction to the city/ region you’re staying. I was happy to host a couchsurfer from Estonia, who hosted me over there. Since then we share a friendship and for me it’s the coolest outcome of a platform like this!

Music, Movies, and Books
As a child I loved the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter books and movies which I still come back to often. I enjoy reading the Beat Generation, especially Jack Kerouac. Besides that I like the classics of German and American literature.
I mostly listen to Hip-Hop but also enjoy electronic music for parties, and folk, indie for relaxing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn some Spanish while in Barcelona (I can understand some, but only un pocito)
I’m very interested in history and culture.
I could teach some German or English.
Share some music (insights into the young German techno and hip hop culture)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could cook some German or American food. If you have pets I could help care for them (if you have a dog I’d love to walk him!). Sharing some stories and music. And of course offer you a place to stay whenever you visit Leipzig.
