I’m interested in traveling but am doing so on a budget. Couchsurfing lets me have a reliable and safe place to stay while saving money. Also, staying with locals, especially abroad, is one of the best ways to make friends and immerse oneself in a new country, culture, pick up on the language, and discover things that you may not otherwise!

Music — I listen to mostly music in Spanish (reggaeton, bachata, Latin pop and Latin rock) but also love timeless artists in English like Beyoncé, Lizzo, Khalid, Cardi B, Hozier, Rihanna.

Not really into movies, more into TV. Favorite shows are The Office, Parks and Rec, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Chewing Gum. Also very into documentaries.

Favorite books/series — Harry Potter, Wuthering Heights, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness, Light in August.
