Overview
About Me
I’m short, I like people, I like to drink coffee, I like to sleep in and star gaze. I’m a cat convert after being a devoted dog mamma for years. I admire a good set of dreadlocks on any good human and would love to have long wavy volumous locks. I live with a very good man, Toby, and have been known to try & cast a fishing rod in his company...have generally failed to master it but, his casting abilities make up for it!! The fresh fish for dinner is a bonus. We live near a stunning beach and I can easily waste time just looking at the ocean and contemplating the intricacies of life.
I haven’t ever hosted as have not been set-up enough for it. Check out my partner’s profile, Toby WILKES, as he has hosted and we are travelling around together. I did travel through Europe when younger and we used ‘Servas’ which is an awesome organisation with a very similar ethos to Couchsurfing so I am familiar with the concept etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Have to say I love a bit of U2, Bush, Queen...more recently am seeing the light and listening to more mid-tempo rock.
I love all of Eckart Tolle’s work, will re-read ‘tomorrow when the war began’ series as many times more as I can before I die. Most recent favourite book is ‘Becoming’ by Michelle Obama.
Movies... I’m too ADHD to sit through most of them but anything by Quentin Tarantino is good. The ‘Green Mile’ hits a soft spot and gotta love ‘little miss sunshine’
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bridge swinging and hang gliding are up there.. just a good time, not that amazing really.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn more than teach as I don’t tend to count myself to be that knowledgeable. Can however, wing it as needed to pretend I’m smart and all that. I enjoy sharing food, stories, coffee tips, clothes if they fit and you are always welcome to borrow stuff if you need it more than me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not in a position to host currently as we live in a modified shed. Happy to meet and put you in touch with cool places to visit near us though! I’m an ‘extrovert’ as it would go so always up for meeting new people :)
