关于我
Graduated from MGIMO, living in Russia, work in online-media Indicator.Ru. I know a little about everything, but there is no area where I'm a real expert. Surprisingly, that makes me an expert (and sometimes a national award-winner) in science journalism. In the past I also worked in summer biological school I've founded with my friends.
In between I perform free concerts with volonteer brigade at MSU Department of Biology, play intellectual and board games, cook something interesting. My job and my hobbies are making me travel a lot inside the country – and sometimes outside. Originally a humble introvert, I'm forced to overcome it by my job requirements, so I can switch to more open and sociable regimen :)
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Travelling alone or in a small groups allows to make your own path, but from time to time I'd like to discuss my experiences to process it better and to add some perspective. Sharing seems a win-win approach: the visitor gets insider information, and the host looks at the city with fresh eyes. And it's valuable apart of the experiences from other places!
P.S. If you don't want to be disturbed, I can be really imperceptible – and bring my own sleeping bag if needed. Three married couples among my friends all concluded that I am similar to a nice quiet cat and even was making jokes about adopting me :)

音乐、电影和书籍
I know a lot of rare and unfamous bands, like my friends you've never heard about, but also I listen classic, rock, french pop and even childish songs or songs from movies, so I'm quite omnivorous.
I've had an extended course of literature, so we can discuss something from Ancient Greece to modern (but not contemporary) masterpieces and authors.
Among my favourite movies/shows – Over the Garden Wall, Doctor Who, Star Trek (starting from Next Generation), The Big Bang Theory, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, Le Visiteur du Futur. I can't say that I'm proficient in cinematography, I just watch something predominantly in English or French to improve my language recognition skills.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
Amazing things and opportunities unexpectedly come along all the time, and I constantly do something I could't imagine I'll be able to. In Karelia I've tried driving a dog sledge volonteering in local "Santa" residence; in Tyva I was a guest on a real Buddist wedding and came up with all kinds of binary code and physics puzzles for the bride purchaise, because the groom was a programmer; in Frankfurt I helped Chinese physicist to invent "quantum poker", even though I hadn't knew a lot about quantum physics and had known nothing about poker before.

This platform provides us with opportunity to see the world even while staying at home. My list of countries is not so long, but I work in unbelievably information-enriched sphere and enjoy life science. I'd love to learn more about your field of expertise – from engineering to PR, from Dante influences on TV-shows to your favourite recipe.

I can teach you Russian a little and answer all the questions about my country, it's geography, literature, culture, history, education and science policy. I can tell you a lot about life science and medicine: fun animal facts, Ig Noble prizes, strange ancient beliefs about physiology, Cambrian fossils included. I'd also like to practice languages and enjoy to discuss some grammar or lexic similarities if we'll find it. I can cook you some Russian dish, discuss Elon Musk, translate for you Arthur Pirozhkov or Russian folk songs, briefly explain how to make informed choices of medication – or many other things.
