About Me

I'm an italian girl currently in Slovakia for my ESC volunteering project and exploring Europe

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to mingle with the native people and Couchsurfing is perfect for that

Interests

I love festivals both as a participant that as organizer: in my region Abruzzo I'm one of the organizers of the YOH Music Festival (electronic music festival).

Montelago Celtic Festival: probably the best 4 days of the year, I go with my friends, we sleep in tents, we eat all together, we dance and we sing the amazing Irish music this festival offers.

One of the biggest pleasure in life for me consists in sitting in a cafè with a friend, during cold season, with a hot coffee or chocolate in one hand talking about life

I like the feeling of tiredness that hours of hiking on the mountains give to my body

I'm the kind of person who could sit on a bench for hours reading a book

I'm very sociable, talkative and curious about people and their lives and, above all if they are from another country

I like to make people comfortable: if they want to talk, we talk, if they want some privacy, I mind my business

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I always try to discover new genres or musicians but my favourite band is Mumford and Sons

Books: I read a lot of gorgeous books in my life but "Fresh water for flowers" by Valérie Perrin maybe changed my life

Movies: this year revelations for me were Inside Out 2 and "C'è ancora domani" by the Italian director and actress Paola Cortellesi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During an Erasmus+ in Berlin, one night I met a young girl who wanted to become a tattooist and after 4 days I was in her bedroom and I had my back tattooed
Now I have the word "Stimmung" on my right shoulder to remember the trip in Berlin and the nice girl that I hope achieved her dream

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you host me I would be glad to cook for you some Italian dishes (like carbonara, amatriciana or whatever you want to try)

I can help with some cleaning

I consider myself a joyful girl so we can have nice chats

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
