About Me

Hi, I'm Laura, I'm 18 years old and living in Romania! I am an ambivalent person and it means that sometimes I do not stop talking, and at other times I am very silent. Often, I like to listen to slow music, but I also listen to other types of music depending on the state I have. I like to analyze the details around me and I put great value on protecting nature. I like to travel, but I didn't have the opportunity to do it except in Romania. Once I was one of the lucky people to get a free ticket to travel by train through Europe, I said this was my chance, so I will start my journey with two friends on December 26th and hope it will last until January 5th. We set out to visit Vienna, Munich, Paris and Amsterdam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in the DiscoverEU project and I want to visit more countries, so the couchsurfing app would help me find some friendly people who could host me during the trip. Also, I want to meet people from different cultures to get an idea of the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much any kind of music and I really enjoy watching movies, especially love or psychological ones. My favourite movies are: Never Look Away (you should watch it), Shutter Island, Good Will Haunting, The Count of Monte Cristo, Dances with Wolves, etc. What can I say about reading is that it is a relaxing activity and I love it, but I’am so lazy that I don’t do it a lot. The last book I read was Armance by Stendhal. It was a beautiful book, I even cried at the end.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
