Hey we are Christian and Astrid, we are close friend, and curious and social people.
We are both students in the architecture school in Aarhus, where we share our everyday. Of course we share our passion for architecture, but besides that we share interests as singing in choir, gathering people around us, and last but not least traveling.

Christian is 25 years, and has always been curious to meet new people/friends and loves to share funny stories from multiple adventures. In the recent years I’ve been traveling with my girlfriend, Alberte, mainly by hitchhiking around Europe. But also by hiking the mountains in Norway and Austria.
I love to seek for the unplanned and spontaneous, cause that’s when the true adventures begin.
Cs for me is the perfect tool to get the true experience of a country, culture and the people living there.

Astrid is 22 and has always been the first in a crowd to crack a joke and spread good vibes. But also a huge eager to get to know the people she meets, and explore the places she visits. She has been solo traveling in more occasions, biggest a journey around south east Asia for 4 months. She met lots of great friends, and took every chance to explore the culture and amazing places, on her way.

This year we are going in a study trip to Istanbul, mainly to study the incredible architecture and history of the city. The whole week is planned with multiple lectures and walks around the city. But we wants to use the opportunity to get to know the people in the city by arriving 2 days before our lectures starts.
Astrid has never tried Couchsurfing and that’s why I, Christian, wants to share this amazing experience with her.

Astrid loves all sorts of music, she plays the saxophone, and enjoys everything from Nordic jazz to house.
