About Me
ABOUT ME
My name is Nouhaïla and I'm from the wonderful red city of Marrakech in Morocco. I'm 21 years old and currently studying physiotherapy in spain, near Barcelona.
I'm very bad at describing myself but I'd quickly say that I have a very calm vibe but enthusiastic at the same time. Also I'm curious and always eager to learn and discuss something I know nothing about.
MY PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE
"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished" Lao Tzu
"Expect Nothing, Appreciate Everything"
PS: I live in an apartment where the owner does not let me welcome anyone (although I did accept someone once, because he really didn't have anywhere to stay)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the meeting and the exchange that makes me feel like I’m part of a global community of people looking for meaningful travel experiences outside the mainstream, capitalist economy. I want to believe and confirm that belief by experimenting it that sharing, generosity, kindness are always present and that money didn't take control over humanity.
Other reasons:
To widen my mind (and go out of my comfort zone)
To capture everyday life abroad
Forgetting about my misconceptions
To get memories of a lifetime

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a large scope of movies genre. What I look for isn't really the genre of the movie per se, but more how it will challenge my mind, enlighten it or confuse it....
Music: it really depends on my mood but I mostly return to the ones with ethereal, dreamlike atmospheres, with visceral, sit-up-and-listen power.
I love reading (biography, nonfiction, philosophy, classics..)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My sister and I didn't know where to go to celebrate our 20th birthday. But she found an awesome concept where you go live in an eco-friendly house with people you don't know. I was a little worried but I thought of the marvelous opportunity it could be, or not...but in any case I would've try something new.
But it turned out that we arrived at 19 yo among complete strangers and went back home at 20 with lifetime friendships! It opened a new door of possibilities in my future.
Many more to come I hope!
