I am Emre and I am a physiotherapist. Growing up, I was a professional basketball player. And, that’s why, I am specialized in sports science and I work with athletes in my professional life. I also works as a personal trainer and help people pursuing their goals.

I am also an amateur musician. I play pretty much every brass instrument and classical and bass guitars well. There was a time in my life such that I was performing at jazz and blues clubs for living.

I want to travel my country and the world. Unfortunately, I haven’t have much chance to go beyond borders yet, I am just starting. I realized that the best way to explore new cities and new cultures is to have authentic experiences with real people and CouchSurfing is a great place to get in touch with local people.

Music is my life, especially jazz and hiphop. I like to play instruments and also try and learn playing ones. Actually, I hope to make an album sometime.

I work-out regularly. Actually, it is not my interest but my life style. I like to keep myself in shape, and, further, force my limits physically.

I quit my professional basketball life after an injury due to an incident. After that, I gained a lot of weight, and I became an obese (180 kg) and was isolated from life couple of years. Then, I decided to change that, to gain my life back and I’ve lost 90 kilograms. All by myself, no surgery or anything. Just myself, my dedication and endeavor.
