Hello 😃 I'm André, from Esmoriz, a small city in the central-north cost of Portugal. I was born in 1994 but only 26 years later was introduced to this amazing community, and has been a pleasure to meet kind and interesting people through it 💛

IMPORTANT:
Currently Maja (my partner) and I have a busy working life and prefer short stays from people with legit references from experienced couchsurfers.
We don't host when we are not at home, accordingly our guests need to leave the house early, on working days.

兴趣

I like everything related to nature! Everything that is culturally different (yet tolerant and respectful) amazes me.
I like to do sports, of most kinds, but particularly for the social aspect of it! Cycling, kayaking, tennis/padle are some of my favourites, but I'm always open to try new things.
I love the outdoors and I try to live in a farely sustainable manner. Love to grow plants at home and when possible to grow my own vegetables. Also have an interesting for foraging.
Most of my meals are vegetarian or vegan, but I like to go with the flow and to try tradicional disches, specially when traveling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

First time going abroad on my own and having less than a year driving, drove a new car from Germany to Portugal and gave a ride to a Polish couple which I met in a train station for almost 800km.
4 years later I started hitchhiking myself with my wonderful polish partner, Maja 😃 We've done it in Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Italy, as well in multiple Portuguese Islands. I hope to do it more!

Happy to share some of my medical/veterinary knowledge or give advise about your pet, as well as about yours plants, speak in English, Spanish or Portuguese and also happy to share some cooking skills (I'm kind of a creative person when it comes to food, not sure how to rate my results though 🤣😃)
