About Me
Hey hey! :)
My name is Milan and I'm a 18y/o boy from Berlin, Germany. Currently I'm travelling through Europe, but hopefully soon a few more continents.
I'm an open-minded, very responsible, creative and curious person and my hobbies include music, photography, skating, going out with friends and traveling (obviously, haha). I'm totally in love with meeting new people, which is why I do lots of photography.
Right now I live in Croatia, working for self-sufficient family-friends near Feričanci in the Osijek-Baranja County.
I was born in Düsseldorf, but shortly after moved to Belgrade, where I learned to speak English and Serbo-Croatian. Until now I lived in Germany, where I visited school. After, I started working as a fundraiser for non-profit organizations and then switched to working on a organic farm as a waiter.
Half of my family is Croatian, the other half is German and I live in a city where I encounter people from all over the world every day, which might be an explanation for my interest in getting to know different people and cultures.
My big dream is to become a documentary photographer and show the entire world what's happening in conflict areas around the globe (current e.g.: Hongkong, Chile, the Middle-East).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If I love something it's people. I want to get to learn as much as possible about the people around me, hear the stories they have to tell. No matter if they're 7 or close to 100. If they feel comfortable take portraits of them. Humans are just the most beautiful thing, all these imperfect features. aHHh I just love it
