Hello, my name is Laura :). I'm from Germany but I've already lived in Costa Rica for 7 months and in London for a year. I did volunteer work there and was an au pair. Now I'm going to study at SDSU for two semesters. I'd really like to get to know the locals here and discover the city before the semester starts. :)

Even after my years abroad, I wanted to contact internationals. That's why I worked in the international office of my university and planned events for the international students :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica. It’s one of my favorite places, especially because it’s close to where the Bribri people live. The Bribri are an indigenous community, and I have many friends there. The natural beauty of the area is truly breathtaking.
I also really enjoyed playing different board games with my host family in England in the evenings. :)
