Overview
About Me
I’m a 21 year old British Asian from London. Unfortunately, this means I’m monolingual but it’s something I’m trying to change by spending a year of University studying in China. At Durham University (it's a beautiful place come visit) I study law.
I fell in love with travelling when I had my first taste at 18 and haven't stopped since. Almost every break from University is spent abroad (as environmentally friendly as possible). China has been a challenge to say the least but spending a year in Asia is only deepening my love for the continent.
My interests heavily depend on my mood and the country I’m in but I’d say I’ll always be happy in an art gallery or restaurant, so this is where I tend to gravitate to wherever I am. Apart from that I’m not fussy, whatever is on offer I’ll have a go at. The people I meet shape my experiences more than any activity so I would love to use CS to connect with you. Meeting people teaches you about other cultures in ways books never can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would ideally love to share my experiences abroad with people who are familiar with the areas, and return the favour whenever I can. As I mentioned in the About Me section, people have a much bigger impact on me wherever I am than anything else so I would love the opportunity to CS!
Whenever possible I'd also love to return the favour and meet again in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: everything. At the moment mostly alt-hiphop (Frank Ocean/Anderson Paak). Absolutely love live music of any kind and would love to be introduced to local live performances around the world.
Movies: Favourite film is 'Do the Right Thing' by Spike Lee. Close second is Bend it Like Beckham! Again I'm not fussy, I can enjoy any movie and my tastes change a lot!
Books: I mainly read non-fiction (of which my favourite is Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker) but my favourite fiction at the moment is Brave New World by Huxley.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 14 I was a Wimbledon Ball Girl! To this day the biggest achievement of my life (the highlight of the week was seeing Tsonga with his shirt off).
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're into cooking I have a broad repertoire which includes my grandma's Indian recipes that I would love to share! Also happy to help people improve their English! I also jump at every chance I get to learn a new card game.
