Hi everyone! I’m Lorena an English teacher that have just graduated from the University. Currently, I’m doing a master’s degree in Santiago de Chile and I live there from March to December (these are the months of “study”). I have traveled abroad just once and the experience was amazing! In the near future, I would like to do it again but this time to different parts of the world!

Hola a todos! Soy Lorena, una profesora de Inglés recién titulada! Actualmente estoy haciendo un magíster en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile y vivo allá durante los meses de Marzo a Diciembre. He viajado solo una vez afuera de Chile y me gustó mucho la experiencia. Espero en un futuro poder viajar a otros destinos en el mundo!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my goals is to travel and I believe that CS helps you to do that. Besides, I like to learn new things. With CS, I can learn about people, their travelling stories and how it is possible to make a journey without a huge amount of money. I would like to travel in a few years, and it would be really helpful to know about travelers’ experiences. Finally, it would be interesting to know about new cultures and to make friends around the globe.

Una de mis metas es poder viajar y creo que con Couchsurfing es una de las formas que existen para poder hacerlo. Además, me gusta aprender cosas nuevas. Con CS puedo aprender sobre las personas, sus historias de viajes y de cómo es posible viajar sin tener tanto dinero. Quiero viajar en unos años más, entonces quiero saber sobre las experiencias de los viajeros. Finalmente, sería interesante saber sobre nuevas culturas y hacer amigos a través del mundo.

Interests

I love learning new things specially new languages. Currently, I'm learning Dutch by my own and I would like to continue learning other languages.
I can describe myself as a person who likes sports, specifically cycling. Lately, I have been adventuring myself into the yoga world. (which I found fascinating)
When I'm bored, I used to paint with my watercolors, listen to music, read a book, walk, hang out with my friends.

Me considero una persona que le gusta el deporte, por ejemplo, el ciclismo y últimamente me he aventurado en el mundo del yoga.
