Hi everyone! I'm Nicole, I'm 25 and in this moment of my life I'm in Santiago del Cile for a volunteer experience with migrants.
I can consider myself an active and curious person, I like being with people, I speak a lot, but at the same time I like to listen to others, in order to share points of view, experiences and ideas. I think I am sensitive and empathetic, and I consider this as a positive quality, but it can also become a flaw sometimes.
Some of the things that bring me positive energy: a good conversation, with an old friend or with a stranger; a walk in a new place; a meal shared with someone; leaving for a new destination; good homemade food; a rooftop view.

Because according to me to visit a new place in the best way, you need to start from the locals. To understand a place as much as possible, with all its shades and hidden aspects, there isn't a better guide than a person who lives it everyday, who can give you the right suggestions and tell you interesting stories. And I guess that couchsurfing is a good way to find these connections.
