About Me
Hello my not yet befriended friends. I have recently moved to Bratislava and unfortunatelly hosting there is quite complicated (see more in My home section). I really want to stay actively involved with Couchsurfing though, so it never hurts to try.
A little bit about me...
As a typical CS enthusiast I like to learn about other cultures and get a glance of the world through other people's glasses. At times I can be a bit chaotic and unorganized but I also like to have a plan and and can stick to it pretty well.
I have spent a few years studying environmental chemistry which is somthing that still interests me. Even though my degree still remains unfinished this field helped me form what I notice around me. Currently I am working towards becoming a teacher which is something that I have always felt a passion for.
I like stories and funny annecdotes so be prepered to tell me about your funniest/most embarassing moments.
I love cats but don't have my own anymore, so if you host me and have a cat you might catch me talking to it kitty style in Hungarian.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Most of the people I met on this platform ended up teaching me something new, helped me see myself in a different light or just simply were present at some nice moments. I hope to have more of these experiences and to make them happen for other people as well.

I like watching as the waves of the ocean hit the rocks on the shore, as a river flows and basically any movement of water. (and to swim)

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is pretty eclectic, I can enjoy heavy metal, pop music, rap, dnb and classical music depending on my mood. Some of my favorite bands and artists are Skillet, Motionless in White, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Three Days Grace, Imagine Dragons, The Score, Billy Eilish, Bad Bunny... and some Hungarian bands like Carson Coma, Depresszió and Kowalsky meg a Vega.
I am trying to replace my TV show addiction with books so I welcome any recommendations. I like fantasy and sci-fi, my old favourite is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Dougles Adams and recently I have discovered Becky Chambers' books. I also like crime novels (so far mostly only read a few Jo Nesbo books).
I like any types of moovies exept for horror. Two of my favourites (partly because of the beautiful soundtracks) are Into the Wild and The Streetcat Named Bob
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped from a relatively high bridge into a river.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can find a lot of things interesting, so anything that you have a passion for, you are welcome to share. I will be extremely happy if you tell me about how does waste management work in your country/city and about it's challanges. However, I am also happy if you show me some of your favourite songs or artists from your country or if you teach me some words in your native language. I can, of course, do the same. I always love to exchange travel stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can talk about my country and I can share my expererience about being a member of a minority. I can teach you words in my spoken languages and if time allows it, I can cook some vegetarian meal for us.
